Couple of days ago there was similar click bait ad (while reading some Gawker page). It had a picture of a CGI submarine and text telling “Your girlfriend will hate this game”.

I don’t have one but if I would have one why would I be interested in a game that she would hate? Is this a game for people who hate their girlfriends and love to make them angry? Is this a big customer segment?

But why would she hate it? Do girls hate submarines? Or just submarine games? What’s wrong with submarines? Finnish navy is banned to have submarines so I guess there might be something bad about these.

I think that most logical reason is that the game is so bad that your girlfriend will hate it because every single person will hate it.
